Improved even though not new.

I'm doing better today, though I didn't get to sleep until about 3:30 AM this morning. Woke up at 7:30. I'm not going to fencing tonight so I can go to bed at a more normal time :-)

Thank you to all of you!

aw, thank you! And that photo of Billy always cracks me up, so thank you for that too :-) Actually, it says a lot to how "petite" a man he is - that's a child's play set and the helmet almost fits him! LOL

Huggles to you!!

I missed your post, and went back to read it just now.... I'm so sorry you've been down, and having a hard several years....

For what it's worth, you don't have to fit in. You're unique. And I love that about you.

(and I'm apologizing if that's what everyone else said -- I didn't take the time to read the responses to your entry -- wanted to get right on the chance to tell you how much I like you... ok, I'll stop rambling now!)

Thank you, m'dear! I've been thinking about you a lot lately and was going to check in on you then things on my end got hectic. I'm glad you stopped by :-) Your rambling is fine. I like you too :-)

This town has been an odd place to live, yeah. I never had trouble finding/making friends the other places we've lived, other than that first year and I did eventually have a couple of good friends there. This is just an odd sort of town. It's a great place in many ways. Small but has a movie theater, nice restuarants (sp?),good grocery stores and the downtown is in good shape, unlike a lot of smaller towns in which the downtowns have died. It has several really nice parks as well. But the people just seem a bit odd. The few I know that aren't too bad are mostly like us, they moved here as adults.

I'm in process of finding out if there are any clubs or groups in town that I might enjoy. Like a camera club, artists club or such. I'm not really into the civic type groups. We'll see what happens :-)

I hope you are well. I still have your business card, the one with your drawing of Aragorn on it. A beautiful drawing that reminds me of a very nice, fun, unique person!

Thank you again for stopping by and for the encouraging words :-)

Many Hugs!

Do you live in Indianapolis? I wasn't sure if you were just visiting Ros/Val or lived there too.....

You'd be surprised how many small communities have artists clubs, or some sort of group... the little town of Berea nearby here has an arts group that holds exibits and has monthly meetings (I've been reading up on arts-friendly towns with an eye towards retirement in 15 years). I hope you can find a cluster of like-minded individuals.

I just posted last night an update on my LJ.... I've been quite busy indeed!

Hugs back!
